Hollywood Caterers was established in 1977 by world renowned Chef Ernst Andersen.

Ernst became the chef at the famous kitchen and  celebrity hang out

"Restaurant Scandia" on Sunset Blvd.

After opening and operating several Restaurants in the Los Angeles area, Chef Ernst went into Serving the motion picture industry in 1970 working for various caterers, before opening Hollywood Caterers in 1977 where he quickly became famous for his cooking skills and being the first caterer to bring a real charcoal BBQ on location.
